About Us

The Network of Universities in Shizuoka is a cooperative organization comprising advanced educational institutions (universities and technical colleges) within the prefecture that was established in 2003.

The educational institutions that make up this organization are working hard to further enhance the attractiveness of individual universities while respecting each other’s autonomy. In addition, by improving the advanced educational functions of the entire region through cooperation, they aim to realize an intellectual environment that accumulates highly competent personnel and contributes to the development of the regional community.
